What is Heated Tobacco?
Heated tobacco is an innovative smoking alternative that heats real tobacco instead of burning it. This process creates a nicotine-containing aerosol that delivers tobacco flavor without the smoke, ash, and many of the harmful chemicals found in cigarette smoke.
How IQOS Technology Works
IQOS devices use sophisticated electronics to heat specially designed tobacco sticks to a precisely controlled temperature (around 350°C) that's high enough to release nicotine and flavor but low enough to prevent combustion. This creates a tobacco vapor rather than smoke, reducing harmful chemicals compared to cigarettes.
