What are replacement vape coils?

Replacement coils are the heating elements inside your vape tank or pod that vaporise your e-liquid. Over time, coils naturally wear out and should be replaced to maintain the best flavour and vapour production.

Which devices are these coils compatible with?

How often should I replace my coil?

The lifespan of a vape coil depends on your vaping habits and the type of e-liquid you use. Most coils last between 1 and 3 weeks. Replace your coil when you notice:

  • A burnt or unpleasant taste
  • Reduced flavour
  • Less vapour production
  • Gurgling or leaking
  • A darker appearance on the coil
How do I prime a new coil?

Before using a new coil, add a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton, install the coil and fill your tank or pod. Leave it to soak for 5–10 minutes before vaping to help prevent dry or burnt hits.

Why does my new coil taste burnt?

A burnt taste is usually caused by the coil not being fully primed or by vaping at a wattage higher than recommended. Always allow your coil to soak before first use and follow the manufacturer's recommended wattage range.

Which e-liquid should I use?

The best e-liquid depends on the coil resistance:

  • Higher resistance coils (0.8Ω and above) – Best suited to 10ml nicotine salts or 50/50 freebase e-liquids.
  • Lower resistance coils (below 0.8Ω) – Best suited to high VG shortfill e-liquids for sub-ohm vaping.

Always check the manufacturer's recommendations for your specific coil.

Why is my coil not lasting very long?

Several factors can reduce coil lifespan, including:

Can I clean and reuse my coil?
